Bisento measurements: tsuba should be just over head, blade about 1 meter long.
Sensei’s measures:
Handle: 167 cm long, 5 cm wide, 4 cm thick
Tsuba: 18 cm high, 10 wide, 1 cm thick (oval in shape)
Sendanmaki: 19 cm
Ishizuki: 18 cm
Blade: 60 cm long (used to be about 90 but had to cut cause of airline regulations), 14 cm wide at widest point, 3 cm thick on top, 0,5 cm thick edge
